Mother's Day Song for Hillary

In the hyper-digital age, one of my hobbies in addition to following the politics sphere like a hawk (or a vulture, heh) is uploading piano covers and originals.  

Most of my covers focus on piano-based Tori Amos and related artists.  Tori herself having been an outspoken supporter of Hillary Clinton happens to have a song in her catalogue called Mother which I recorded for Mother's Day.

Since there was a good response to the other song I posted, I figured I would put the link and video embed here also.  With all the fire Hillary has been under, today is a day in which we celebrate not only her strength but the fortitude of all women who are the unsung heroes of this nation and whose commitment to volunteer work accounts for the majority of services that promote all of our candidates.

This was a tricky song to learn because the time signature has a few abrupt changes in it, but I did my best.  Hope you like.  And Happy Mother's Day!

Thank you.  A lot of women look to Hillary as an icon of fortitude in a culture that likes to tell women to curtsy and exit stage right.  She deserves great respect for having conquered so much.

Just beautiful, and beautifully played, with real feeling.  The music is as complex, multidimensional, with a different timing and rhythm through out.  Just like HRC. Thank you!

Thank you.  This is becoming one of my favorite songs to play and it raises a lot of complexities of Motherhood and gender socializing.
